Alx Green is from Chester in the North West of England. Seamlessly fusing modern singer / songwriter music with dynamic vocals, invigorating melodies and percussive finger-tapping, his songs have a fresh new feel but retain that classic songwriter sound.
Alx Green has previously released several demo EP’s and in 2016 after three months touring Europe in his van with a homemade bed in the back, he released his first studio EP ‘My Way Home’ which achieved number two in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter pre-order charts. Alx’s songs have received several plays on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Merseyside and have been described as ‘stunning stuff’ by BBC Introducing DJ Dave Monks. His single ‘Got To Learn’ was played by Chris Hawkins on BBC 6Music along with the description “in a crowded market he’s a real talent”. Alx has also been invited to do BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris' UnderTheAppleTree sessions at his home in Oxford. The videos can be found on YouTube.
