Hailing from Croxteth, Liverpool and just 24, Joe Slater delivers a smooth saturating blend of rock, blues and soul that is beyond his years.
Joe's songwriting and unique vocals take listeners on a journey comprised of energetic sing-alongs and anthemic ballads, full of interior and reflective moments that only the greats could inspire.
Joe recorded with Rock'n'Roll royalty. His new 'State of the Ark' EP was produced by " Kipper" (Sting and many more), engineered by Cameron Craig (Adele and many more) and Mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Since the release of new single 'Lady' on the 2nd November 2018, things are certainly taking off for the kid from Croxteth. Within 24 hours 'Lady' was picked up by BBC Radio Merseyside and subsequently given national BBC Introducing radio-play after being hand-picked by Tom Robinson on Radio 6 who commented; ''Lady carries such absolute conviction you can't help but get swept up in its gravitational pull. January 2019 saw Joe sell out the award winning Green Note in Camden and pack out Liverpool's own Parr Street Studios on February 15th which secured him on the line up for this year's Isle of Wight Festival, Cornbury, LIMF and The Alternative Escape.
Before releasing new music in 2020, Joe has been a resident artist every weekend at the new Hard Rock Hotel in Marble Arch (London), supported high profile artists such as The Christians on their UK tour as well as rising star Emily Capell across the country in February.
Since lockdown, Joe has been active on the live circuit with London appearances at Wembley Park, Hard Rock Cafe and Eccleston Yards. Also playing Lock & Key in Liverpool.
