About Michael Moore

Michael G Moore is a London based songwriter.

Known for epically long sets and 1000 songs, he has been the go-to entertainer in London’s celebrity party and award scene.

A multi instrumentalist surrounding an Elton John style thumping piano and a vicious kick pedal on his left foot, he has a a powerful yet at times vulnerable voice with songs that rock and cry, propelling you out at night and carrying you home again.

It won’t surprise you to hear that the marvellous multi-instrumentalist Michael G Moore was spawned by a musical family. As his proficiency on piano, cello, and guitar improved so came a surge of self-penned songs and in his early 20’s.

Michael formed Michael G Moore and the Enormous Trousers with his brother on drums and a school friend on bass. The trio would go on to play BESTIVAL in 2008 before a conscious disbanding as both Michael’s brother and friend took South American wives, therefore achieving the aims of their respective careers of music!

But Michael still had plenty of unfinished business within the music game and he arrived in London with his piano, cello, guitar, bass, drums, triangle and vocal talents under his arm.

Eager to gain experience and make his name Michael began belting out the tunes anywhere and everywhere, from lively boozers south of the river to the trendy piano bars up west. By doing this he whips packed rooms into a state of frenzy every weekend.

His skills have also brought him to the attention of some rather classy clients, he’s played events including:
THE BRITISH FASHION AWARDS
VICTORIA PENDLETON’S WEDDING
THE COSMOPOLITAN ULTIMATE WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS
AUSTIN HEALEY’S 40TH BIRTHDAY
JADE JAGGER’S BABY SHOWER
MISHA B’S FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE AFTER X FACTOR

As a professional songwriter and solo artist with over a decade of raucously gratifying gigs in his wake, Michael is working with producers and songwriters to plot the inevitable break into mainstream living rooms and hearts.

The release of his new album Therapy is eagerly awaited. Recorded at Rockfield Studio with Michael playing almost every instrument, 10 songs about mischief and the mend. Michael g Moore spews forth a contagious strain of musical hepatitis in the key of 'fuck me this is brilliant'.
